My work as Managing Editor at TEXT journal is both challenging and rewarding. It's a team project and it's always exciting to publish a new edition. As scholarly journal funded by the membership of the Australasian Association of Writing Programs, the journal brings scholarly contributions, reviews and creative works relevant to the creative writing discipline to readers in Australasia and across the globe.

In this issue (Vol 29, No 2, April 2025) we publish new scholarly work from Carrie Tiffany (La Trobe University), who reflects on the mechanical intertext in relation to her award-winning novel Exploded View; Anders Villani (RMIT University), who contributes new thinking on trauma and poetics in Kate Lilley’s Tilt and his own collection, Totality; and Annabel Wilson (Massey University), who explores re-arrangement in Lynn Jenner’s Lost and Gone Away plus many more interesting contributions. Browse the new issue here. TEXT is always free; always open access.
